A Shreveport woman is mourning the loss of her pet after he was shot and killed by police during a search.
Police were searching for a group of kids in the woman's neighborhood. The manager of a Quick Stop on Greenwood Road told Shreveport Police that he saw a 12 year old with a gun.
While police were searching for the teen, one of the cops reportedly shot and killed Patricia Wayne's dog named "Plank".
The officer that shot the dog claims the canine charged at him, but Wayne says her dog "Plank" was properly restrained.
